| Organising Committee |
2005's Organising Committee at the ANU has been working very hard to make this year's Women's the best possible. We've all been busy having meetings and arranging fundraising events and sponsorship, and most importantly, organising exciting activities for our participants - check out the fun stuff we have planned so far for you in the draft of our itinerary.

Committee Members
Here are some brief profiles of your committee members in Canberra.
Simone Gubler
Tournament Convenor
Simone has recently taken time out from the Big Brother house to advance the cause of women everywhere. Being a woman she feels that she is uniquely placed to achieve this unique life goal. Her other long-term hobby has been the propagation of world peace. Pending extensive facial surgery, Simone's unique life-dream is to become Miss Universe and use the resources of the Trump Corporation and Fox Network to instate a autocratic global matriarchy and, of course, promote world peace. Unique.
Apologies for the image; Simone is gorgeous, everyone - this is Paint's NuArt style.
Celia Winnett
Co-Convenor
Celia is a caffeine addict with partially webbed toes. Her favourite things include punctuation, kiwifruit spoons (the ones with the little knives on the end) and Home & Away. She hates essay words limits and gets depressed when it's not sunny.
Angela Teh
Co-Convenor

Bek Hamed & Emily Byrne
Chief Adjudication Team

Em got expelled from preschool, and blames this gross injustice for everything bad that has happened in her life since. Her interests include echidnas, recorder-making and spending more time in the law library than any sane person can reasonably endure.

Bek has graduated, yes, finally. And is now working in Melbourne. She's making a special guest appearance at AWDC@ANU because it's gonna be so damn cool.
Frances Lamb
Media Liaison
Marija Taflaga
Social Officer

Hsu-Ann Lee
Webmaster
Hsu Ann is renowned for the many variations of her pseudo-English name; this quirk of culture has stumped the most intelligent of humans and led to the creation of a hyphen. She has six months' IT experience (Year 10) and loves '80s power ballads, particularly Swedish band Roxette.
Bec Thornberry
Sarah Bishop
Sponsorship Officer
Sarah Wise
Treasurer
Jenny Bowles
Women's Officer
Sharon Song
Officer of Miscellany
