Novice Policy
Each team must have at least one novice member. We define a novice as:
-Someone who has attended less than 2 worlds and never broken
at worlds
-Someone who has attended less than 2 Australs
Teams of two experienced debaters may participate in the tournament, but cannot break.

Accommodation Policy
Interstate tournament participants will not receive a reduction or refund of their registration fee if they:
1. Do not stay in the accommodation provided by the committee at University House
2. Do not stay for the duration of the tournament
3. Hate Canberra and everything about it.
Adjudicator Policy
Where possible we would like institutions to supply adjudicators in accordance with the n-1 rule enforced at other intervarsities. If this is not possible you can still come, but we will cry in your food.
Transport Policy
Participants are expected to source and pay for their own transport to and from the tournament, where possible we will provide lifts to the tournament to participants on their arrival in Canberra. For travel info, see our registration page.
