Welcome to ANU Debating in 2009!
ANU Debating is
the ANU's most active student society.
We hold weekly debating as part
of our Novice, ANU Open and ANUBP internal competitions. This year these
competitions will be held on Tuesday nights, from 6:00 PM at the
Law School. We will begin each night with free pizza or a barbeque.
ANU Debating also runs several social events throughout the year. In
Semester One of 2009, these will include 'Politics in the Pub' during
O-Week, an BBQ and exhibition debate in Week 1, an afternoon tea for women
in the society, a contingent dinner in the lead up to Easters, the Debsoc
End of Semester Party, as well as a number of training events.
Of course, we are looking forward to our regular debates on Tuesday
night @ 6pm in the Law School.
