Information Resources
If youíre searching for information on environmental living, campaigning, legislation or anything else Earth-related, there is a wealth of places to look in Canberra. Probably the first and foremost information resource for environmental campaigning is people. If you want information on a particular issue, try contacting one of the groups focused on the issue youíre interested in, and ask its members to tell you about the group, or where to look and what to read to get up to speed. Lots of the groups listed in this guide have web sites, which are a good starting place for internet research. As always with the internet, thereís much junk out there, but a plethora of useful sites too if youíre willing to wade through and find them. You may also want to find out whether there are courses run on your area of interest, either through a university, college, tafe, college, or community organisation.
