From the 2nd to the 4th of October: Three days of awesome racing in Sydney Bay, organized by the USYD sailing club (they organized the previous regatta in Sydney harbour and it was a blast: http://picasaweb.google.com/SydneyUniSailingClub/2009Regatta#). It will be team racing: they provide the boats, we provide the teams: quite easy to organize. Anybody can come, there will be fun for everyone: parties, good competitors, and team racing makes it a good way to discover what a regatta is. Let me know as soon as you can if you want to come: we are shooting for 2 teams of 6... See you JF |

Hello everybody,
the polar cold that reigns in Canberra is soon to come to an end, and what better way to catch up than a BBQ at the shed.
So it is set for the 23rd of August, let's meet at 12pm (noon). The Sailing Club provides the food and soft drinks (please reply if you plan on coming (

) for scaling purposes...). The alcohol is bring your own (and share if you want ;-) ).
It is a good time for new members to register for the September courses, and for anybody to join the sailing club. Depending on the weather, sailing might not be encouraged, but there will be some sailing/windsurfing movies on the TV, and there is always some fiber glassing needed on the lasers ;-) .
