The much-anticipated MSO Ski Trip is finally here!
Details are as follow:-
Venue : Perisher Blue
Date : 9th August 2008, Saturday
Departure time : 5.00am from Union Court
Price : $115 ski
: $150 snowboard
Things to bring : sunblock, water proof gloves and pants, sunglasses, winter jacket, beannie, earmuff, OSHC card (attire rental 20% off
from ClothesLine in Braddon).

Price includes transport and rental of ski equipments. However, it doesn't include rental of clothes and skiing attires such as winter jacket, water proof gloves&pants, and those listed above. So please check out ClothesLine in Braddon if you don't personally have those items. (the 20% discount in ClothesLine is not only for MSO members so don't worry about showing them your MSO card in order to get the price cut). It's really important to wear them as it is really cold up at the mountain. And it has to be water proof cause you wouldn't want you butt and hands to get wet and chilly.
In order to maintain a competitive and affordable price for you, we subsidized the ticket price partially so you can be sure that market price would never be any lower than the amount you're paying. And we'll provide you with light refreshments =)
As there's only about 80 spots available, this event is strictly for MSO members. Please bring your OSHC card along when you register.
So this is how it works at the dawn of 9th August:-
1. Get enough rest the night before to get your money's worth. Skiing when you're lethargic is not a good idea.
2. Be in Union Court (the place where Fenner residents wait for their bus) by 4.30am. Our 2 ski trip busses leaves at 5am to Perisher Blue. It has to be that early so that you have more time to ski especially since the journey itself takes a couple of hours; not to mention it takes time to rent and put on those ski attires.
3. Light refreshments will be given in the bus on the way to Perisher Blue.
